I Would Fix Your Enquiry Journey Before Buying More Traffic

If the current visitors do not understand, trust or contact you, paying to send more people into the same journey can simply buy more waste.

My short answer: traffic is not automatically the problem. Before increasing ad spend or chasing more rankings, I check whether the people already arriving can quickly understand the offer, trust the business and take the next step.

I have seen businesses obsess over clicks because clicks are easy to count. The harder question is what happens after the click.

Start on a phone

I open the site at a realistic mobile size and look at the first screen without giving the business the benefit of insider knowledge. What do they do? Who is it for? Why should I trust it? What can I do next? If those answers are buried, more traffic will not fix the experience.

Then I look for hesitation

Weak proof, unclear prices, generic copy, hidden contact details, long forms, confusing service names and unanswered objections all create friction. None of those problems require a bigger advertising budget.

Traffic should amplify something that already works

Once the journey is credible, additional traffic has a stronger foundation. That is why conversion work and acquisition should not be treated as separate departments that never speak to each other.

THE PRACTICAL NEXT STEP

Apply the principle to your own business.
